Samsung has pushed out official details of the many Android phones that have leaked over the last few weeks, showing off four new different sized takes on the Galaxy style – the Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Mini, Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Gio.
It is a whole universe of galaxies. Here’s the previously mentioned Galaxy Ace, which is the pick of the bunch as far as us power users are concerned:
It’ll have an “800MHz” processor, according to Samsung’s latest announcement. And here’s the rest of them:
This is the Samsung Galaxy Fit. It’s the one we thought was called the Suit. It comes with a 3.3″ screen, 600MHz processor and a 5megapixel camera. Entry level phones are getting bloody good.
This one’s the Samsung Galaxy Gio. That’s a 3.2″ screen. Samsung didn’t reveal any more details about it.
And the Samsung Galaxy Mini. It has a 3.1″ screen and 600MHz processor. That’s all we know.
And this is the “lifestyle” image showing you how Samsung imagines its users. That’s you, that’s me. No idea who those girls are. Here’s the press release announcing all four, if you crave the details:

/ January 26, 2011Nice, but aren’t these still all falling short of HTC’s Desire stable?

/ January 26, 2011I think Samsung has announced these mid-range models now so the BIG GUNS can come out during Mobile World Congress. But yes, the Desire’s still the best phone out there by a long margin.
