Last week’s “February” Optimus 2X launch claim didn’t last long. Online retailer Expansys is now saying the dual-core LG Optimus 2X is actually not launching in February – and is now claiming the phone will be ready for sale on March 21st instead.
And Carphone Warehouse also says March on its “Coming Soon” page for the anticipated new Android phone. So March it is, then.
The problem for LG here is that “March” comes around after “February” – and February is when Mobile World Congress happens and we’re likely to be FLOODED with more stunning new Android phones from the likes of Sony Ericsson and HTC.
You might want to hurry things up a little LG, else we’ll have moved on.

/ January 15, 2011This is a very good popular mobile phone,i see this being a big hit in the uk.And suprisingly it has a better resolution than the samsung galaxy s.its hard between the iphone 4.but they are the same.the resolution flicking through screens is better on the lg,it does not blur like on the galaxy s.that is proberly why the galaxy s only has a 1ghz processor, and the optimus 2x has a 2ghz processor.thats the clue in the name,so i can confirm for fair investment that the new optimus will be faster, have better graphics, better camera.and proberly lots more. The iphone is at the peak of death so don’t waste your money on the iphone 5 people, please look into other companies.
