We’ve just received a rather aggressive direct email from BT, suggesting we might like to buy a 7″ Android tablet which appears to be badged as the Storage Options Scroll. IF ONLY THEY KNEW.
For the modest asking price of £132.75 what you get seems pretty good. The Scroll is powered by Android 2.1 with an HDMI output supposedly capable of sending 1080p content to your HDTV…
…while the processor inside is the 800MHz ARM11. The bad news is the tablet’s 7″ 800×480 screen is resistive, so it’s one for the less demanding consumers out there. BT clearly has NO IDEA who it is dealing with.
Here are the tech specs of the thing. Can anyone suggest which other brand names this device has been released under?
