Here’s an astonishing demo of the power of the forthcoming LG Optimus 2X, courtesy of a reviewer who’s uploaded a 1080p clip recorded with the new Android phone to YouTube.

That’s shockingly good. We’ve seen some terrible attempts at 720p from the current range of Android phones – so to see 1080p handled so effortlessly is a rather stunning endorsement of Nvidia’s Tegra tech. This might be the next Eurodroid telephone. Link sort of via Gizmodo.

/ January 17, 2011Shockingly good? For a camera phone, yes. Let’s see how well it works indoors, though – and especially for stills without flash. Any cheapo camera can produce something passable out of doors in bright sunlight.
