Dell’s just released official facts and images for its updated Dell Streak, with its new, bigger 7″ Android tablet yet another device to come with Nvidia’s dual-core Tegra 2 chipset inside it.
Sadly there’s no tablet-themed Android 3.0 for the Streak 7 as yet, with Dell saying it’ll come with Android 2.2 onboard – and the same Stage custom user interface as found on the regular 5″ Streak. Which means it can launch sooner rather than later. Here it is:
In a similar fashion to the Motorola XOOM, Dell’s initially releasing this in the US alongside a network partner – in this case T-Mobile. But it does say the unbranded Streak 7 will be available direct through Dell.com “in the coming weeks”. Hopefully that means a Euro launch will happen equally promptly.
