LG’s currently doing its CES 2011 presentation, where it’s just announced the LG Optimus Black – an Android phone it claims will have the “world’s brightest” display. As well as being bright it’ll also be 15% more efficient than whatever LG used as its baseline display type.

LG also claims this phone can record and playback 1080p footage. It’s borderline exciting.
