Asus Eee Pad Memo tablet – dual-core, Android 3.0 and a capacitive stylus

Now it’s getting silly. As well as the sci-fi Eee Pad Slider, Asus has today also revealed the Eee Pad Memo – a weird combination of retro PDA design with a pressure-sensitive stylus and the forthcoming Android 3.0 operating system.

According to Engadget, the Eee Pad Memo features a 7″ screen running at a 1024×600 resolution, powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor – and will arrive in June running the as-yet unannounced Android 3.0 tablet-friendly update.

That looks solid and interesting enough to be a proper winner. But that’s not our first look at Android 3.0 – it’s one of the supplied Asus applications, a note-taking app.
