LinkedIn, the social network everyone signs up for but nobody seems to ever actually use, has launched an Android app. Currently tagged as a beta test release, the only way to get yourself a copy is by downloading the APK direct from the maker.
Here’s a little snippet from the announcement, taken from the LinkedIn blog:
The new Beta app supports several of the key features used most frequently by mobile users on our other platforms:
- View updates from your professional network
– Search for people to discover things you have in common and establish new connections
– Respond to invitations sent from people in your professional life
– Keep in touch with your own connections on LinkedIn
And here are some images. They are a bit low resolution but get the message across.
Imagine having that many work friends. Administrative nightmare. LinkedIn for Android requires Android 2.1 or higher and can be got here. Link via Phandroid.

/ December 17, 2010The social network that everybody knows about, but nobody cares about has just released an app. Mr C hasn’t made an update since then. This can mean one of two things:
* Mr C is making sure that no one he has ever met is more successful than him
* Teclast are about to launch an Android phone.
Please God let it be the latter!
