American Android enthusiasts will soon be able to buy themselves the HTC Thunderbolt, if that is indeed the new HTC Android phone’s final name, with leaked shots of the long-teased Verizon phone showing a 4.3″ screen ENORM-O-SLAB of a telephone.
This is a 4G/LTE handset, so is unlikely to see the light of day over here unless one of our networks magically announces it’s been stealth-building a 4G network. But it’s pretty nice, so here it is:
And there it is. More photos of a phone you’ll only ever see on holiday can be found over at Droid-Life.

/ December 29, 2010Wow, the first HTC device you can easily describe as – ugly??????????? The screen is mounted far too low, and the back logos aren’t aligned properly, the google logo on the kickstand is a bit offset, and the camera is not nearly as visually striking as the evo or the d hd (it is flush at least), it would look better using the iphone 4 setup, switching the lens/flash position. But the speaker/kickstand is a brilliant idea, even if it eventually doesn’t prove as useful.
