The Motorola DEFY has joined T-Mobile as well as Vodafone, with the UK network now offering the MANLY waterproof Android phone on monthly tariffs. It’s available surprisingly cheaply as well, with the company wanting £20 per month for 24 months in return for a “free” Defy.
In return for that long-term commitment you get a free internet booster package, 300 minutes of talk time and 300 text messages, along with T-Mobile’s “unlimited” internet – in which instance the word “unlimited” means there’s a 3GB fair usage policy attached to it.
The DEFY runs Android 2.1 and features a 3.7″ toughened Gorilla Glass touchscreen – and is powered by an 800MHz processor. Which makes this a surprisingly good deal. Like, almost an administrative error kind of deal.

/ November 15, 2010@Lee what kind of arguments did you use to persuade them to give it to you for free?
Lee
