A fantastic way to keep up on the latest scores in the Ashes, this. It’s a very simple and stylish cricket scorecard app for Android, that supports ball-by-ball reports and does everything you’d expect with minimum of fuss.
There are no ads, it just works, with additional links to RSS news feeds plus official Twitter updates from the ECB and any players currently tweeting.
The app identifies itself as just “Cricket” when you open it up, but currently lives on the Android Market under the name “Ashes Cricket Live Scores”. Suspect it’s been hastily renamed to cash in on the current series, but it’s impressive whatever the history.

/ November 29, 2010I personally reckon Ashes Scores Desk Clock by our old friend Stephen Cooper (him of football push scores, Subway card app, Tesco Clubcard app etc) is mroe useful. Basically it displays a large clock, but also the latest score in The Ashes – great for when waking up in the morning!

I have fixed the FC problem with my Ashes App and have also emailed Gary to see if he can give it a mention.
