The previously leaked Sony Ericsson ANZU has been unclothed online once again, with phones blog Mobile Review taking a pile of photos of the next Sony Ericsson Android phone. And putting them on the internet for us to look at.
“..thinner, lighter and has a bigger screen” when compared to the Sony Ericsson X10 are some of the positives to come out of the Sony Ericsson X12 preview, with the form factor of the phone and surprising implementation of multitouch support impressing the user…

HTC’s 4.3″ dual-core Android model, powered by Qualcomm’s all-new S4 processor. It’s smaller than the enormous One X, but is it as nice as its bigger brother? (SPOILER: Yes it is).
HTC is very much B-A-C-K at the top of the Android world with this, its quad-core flagship for 2012. Great camera, huge 4.7″ display and Android 4.0 running beautifully well.
Sony returns with an all-new mobile design for 2012, pairing a dual-core processor with a 720p display. It’s a lovely phone, but is it enough to end our Samsung and HTC obsession?
LG’s updated Prada phone comes with an absolutely crazy black & white theme, but is it just for fashionable suit wearers who want to make themselves look a bit more interesting?

/ November 17, 2010Humbug. No dual core processor & it will be released with just v2.2 of the o/s next year sometime. I think I’ll have to just give up on the idea of SE ever catching up with its contemporaries. Nexus S then.

/ November 17, 2010I’d wait to see what gets announced at Mobile World Congress in February. Last year’s was epic. This year’s will be wall-to-wall amazing new Android phones, stacked in piles 20-deep.

/ November 17, 2010I suppose you could be right. This does seem to be following the same path as the x10 release. That was leaked about 6 months before it was finally available. When it did get to the operators HTC had snuck in the release of the legend & desire with similar specs and the newest o/s (at the time). Im not sure SE really understand the pace at which they need to develop it seems to be that HTC and Samsung release both awesome and middling phones in a 6 month cycle. I’m wary that SE consider a yearly update to be enough and unfortunately they are playing catch up.
However I have just remembered the PlayStation phone that was knocking about a few weeks back so there might be some hope.
