UK retailer Dixons is today’s current WINNER when it comes to offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab for the lowest price – it’s shaved a tenner off the previous best price and is now selling the 7″ Android tablet for £479.
We’re not sure if this price includes delivery or not, as we can’t be bothered signing up and pretending we want to buy one – but if it doesn’t, a local Dixons branch will be duty bound to price match this for you [UPDATE: Yes, it includes free delivery].

We’re starting to think that the UK retailers may have over estimated demand for the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Are they starting to stack up in the aisles?
UPDATE:
Now £479 at Amazon, too. IT’S WAR OUT THERE.
UPDATE #2:
24 hours later and it’s down to £469 at Dixons. WHEN WILL THIS MADNESS END?

/ November 13, 2010I was going to buy one, but when it looked like it would be really expensice I went for a Dell Streak instead (loving it). Anyway, I’m sure a lot of people opted for other devices and now that they are finally lowering Galaxy Tab prices to something more realistic it is too late.

/ November 13, 2010I’ll bet on 200€ with a 2 years (big) contract by February… And I’ll buy one! ;-)
Bristolboy
/ November 15, 2010£469 at Tesco to – plus get 938 clubcard points to if you are into that sort of thing (worth almost a tenner off of shopping at Tesco or I think more off shopping in other places).
