In a tweet today, the maker of TweetDeck revealed that its excellent Android app now has more users than the Mac desktop client. We’re not sure exactly how this particular statistic fits in with the whole smartphone war, but it’s an interesting one nonetheless – and Android TweetDeck has only been out of beta and available on the Android Market for about four weeks, too.
The Android version of TweetDeck continues to blow us away with every update. Poor old Seesmic has been left for dead on our phone and TweetDeck has even assimilated our Facebook account. It’s just… great.

/ November 12, 2010This is unsurprising: I downloaded the Mac version and found it was quite unstable. Doubtless they’ve updated it since then, but once bitten, twice shy.

/ November 13, 2010Looks like the regular Android version on the Galaxy Tab rather than the desktop version. Pity that, coulda been the first killer tablet app.

/ November 13, 2010I uninstalled TweetDeck because of its poor widget…
No auto (or manual) scroll of the timeline and … 3×3 size!
I wish it had a fullscreen widget like “Friends” in Sense UI, I would have uninstalled Facebook, Twitter and Buzz instead!
