Google’s been working hard on categorising the huge number of different Android phones out there on all the networks in various territories, and the result is a much better representation of the current Android scene over on its online Phone Gallery.
When it launched a couple of months ago – to replace the Nexus One online shop – Google’s Phone Gallery only featured six Android phones for the UK. Now look at them all. The UK Android section appears to be very complete and up-to-date, as far as we can tell.
It scrolls down a lot further than that, too. Not entirely sure what the point of it is, but it’s nice to see Google at least trying to help promote the OS on its site – and getting it right this time.
