We’ve been keeping an eye out for the Huawei IDEOS Android phone for the last couple of months, ever since the exciting super-budget Android phone was first revealed back at the beginning of September.
Well, it’s sort of out to buy now, with an eBay seller offering to send it to you from the UK for £174.99. Which seems like quite a lot of money in the post-Orange San Francisco days.
If you don’t fancy buying a lump of technology from eBay, the IDEOS is also now listed at our SIM-free retailer chums Expansys – who are selling it for £159 including free P&P, with a launch date of December 1st attached to it.
Two months is a long time in the Android phone world, eh?

/ October 23, 2010I like how both the ebay seller and expansys have the CPU type wrong for this phone. It’s actually powered by a 528MHz MSM7625 CPU which is the same that the upcoming HTC Bee will be powered by.
