While everyone’s been BANGING ON AND ON about the minor diversion that is Windows Phone 7 today, the newest HTC Android phone has arrived for order on its first UK network, with T-Mobile now accepting orders for the HTC Desire HD.
And it’s expensive – if you want a “free” Desire HD you’ll have to agree to pay at least £40 per month on a 24 month contract. You don’t have to open up your PC’s calculator to know that 24 x £40 is a lot of money.
There’s a HUGE range of alternate tariff options on T-Mobile’s site, ranging from a £10 contract that comes with a £320 upfront cost for the phone, up to a top-range £45 per month if you want the Desire HD for “free” on a shorter 18 month contract.
Thanks to readers Paul and Oliver for the tip.
