HTC Desire HD release moved back to October 25 by Amazon UK

We have yet more confirmation of some minor delays to the hot pair of new HTC Android phones courtesy of Amazon UK, which has today changed its release timings for the HTC Desire HD.

The huge Android phone now comes with an October 25 date attached to its listing. As print-screened below:

So if you’re the sort of person who likes to stump up a lump of CASH rather than sign up for the smoke & mirrors of a subsidised contract, there’s a little longer to wait.

  1. I have a Nexus One and the buttons are in a different order. Why would I buy a phone which would confuse me? I’m getting on a bit and will soon have to ask teenagers for help making calls, so they need to stop this randomisation of buttons.

    • Maybe stick to one manufacturer then?

Although the Nexus One was made by HTC I should imagine Google had substantial input in its design.

If you stuck to one manufacturer you might have more luck with consistent design.

Surely never too old for new toys ;)

The Desire and Hero have different button layouts, both made by HTC. Shouldn’t really put anyone off buying a phone, but it is a bit odd.
