The Orange store webmaster is back off his holiday. Orange UK has just added the budget-busting San Francisco Android phone to its online store, letting those afraid of human contact buy the £99 pay-as-you-go mobile through the internet.
The listing doesn’t go into any more technical detail about the handset than was previously announced, but then we already know all about it, don’t we?
The minor catch is you need to also purchase an Orange SIM card of at least £10 in value, plus, of course, you’ll need some sort of mobile data package to get the most out of it. But still. Amazing price for a 3.5″ capacitive touchscreen-ed Android phone. Order it here.

/ September 24, 2010I would offer to ask someone from Orange what the score is, but they don’t like me very much.

Its on 2.1, so probably, but it may be flaky – most Exchange security policies require the handset to have a PIN or password – unfortunately 2.1 only has pattern lock for security. If it gets upgraded to 2.2/Froyo however, should be plain sailing.
nothanks
/ September 27, 2010The boys at modaco forum have found a $3 unlock service for an older zte model that works on the SF, just done it on mine and am now on 3 wth full bars thank god, i can now use this thing as an actual phone! Supposedly there is already a 2.2 rom in chinese so an english one will soon be doing the rounds.
