We7 launches music streaming app for Android

We7 has finally brought its music app to Android, letting users sign up for an “all you can hear” music package for £9.99 per month – the same amount charged by the still-reigning music streaming champion Spotify. We prefer Grooveshark, but this is neither the time or place for such arguments.

In return for that fee, Android We7 users receive access to “unlimited” streaming music every month. Just be careful of your data costs. Here’s what it looks like.

If your finances are already creaking under the weight of many monthly subscriptions, there’s a useful two-week free trial currently in operation – and you can sign up for that within the app itself.

It’s a very well presented app, complete with the option to queue music for listening to when offline.

Not many settings. Which is a bit of a relief. We’re getting rather sick of over-complex apps.

Is that really the UK singles chart? Man, we are very out of touch with the modern popular music scene. The We7 app is currently up in the Android Market for the having. A search for “We 7″ will bring it up.
