Binatone! Binatone is making two Android tablets, actually, offering the cheapest model for an astonishingly low £129.99. That’s for the 7″ model of the Binatone HomeSurf tablet, with an 8″ version planned for launch at £179.99.
Yes, there’s some bad news – the screens of both the Binatone HomeSurf 7 and HomeSurf 8 are of the resistive type, plus resolutions are rather low at 800×480 on the 7″ tablet and 800×600 on the 8″ version. Oh, and there’s no GPS…
But then at only £129.99 for a 7″ tablet you can’t be too picky. It’d do for a bit of late night bedside cabinet browsing.
And that’s the 8″ version, which looks slightly more aspirational. Link via What Mobile. Click the read more tab for the list of tech specs of both.

/ September 1, 2010So are they selling the same thing as the Indian tablet that’s supposed to sell for £50 here, but with an £80 charge for having Binatone written on it? Good deal.

/ September 1, 2010Doesn’t look bad for the price, just wish the screen was capacitive.
