Yet another update of the beta Android TweetDeck client has just gone live this evening, introducing a whole host of minor visual tweaks and new settings options that concentrate on the little things, like Notifications and tighter integrationg with other Android apps.
Now they’ve sorted out the functionality, looks like it’s time for the makers to start beautifying the thing, basically. Here’s TweetDeck v0.9.4’s little changelog taken from TweetDeck’s support pages:
- Updated column notifications & refresh rate settings UI
– Added Light, Sounds & Vibrate notification options
– Fixed bug which stopped Facebook updates from appearing
– Can now “Share” an image from the Android Gallery App to TweetDeck
– Can now “Share” a link from the Android browser to TweetDeck
– “Shared” links are auto-shortened using bit.ly
And here’s a couple of screenshots of the new stuff in action we’ve just taken a few minutes ago:
And yes, those screenshots are coming out at a higher resolution than our previous offerings. We have upgraded the EuroDroid legacy handset systems, from the faithful old Magic to an HTC Desire. Which is a bit good.
UPDATE:
There’s a really nice summary of the Android TweetDeck launch period over on the company’s blog. After seeing 20,000 download requests in the first few hours, the makers went down the pub. Good work.
