PICTURE: HTC Desire HD photographed for the first time

The amazing week of HTC leaks continues, with the most exciting of them all – a glimpse at the Android phone we currently know as the HTC Desire HD, a phone which has also appeared under various future product listings at the HTC Ace.

The pic, posted by a user over at MoDaCo, shows a very thin, streamlined Android phone, featuring an enormous 4.3″ screen with very little in the way of bezel or border – it’s pretty much all screen.

The MoDaCo spy also reports the HTC Desire HD has an “aluminium” case along with a 1GHz processor inside. Hopefully there’ll be some sort of official announcement on this soon, as it looks like this may be the HTC Desire-like success story of late 2010, ideal for those longing for a Euro-spec version of the HTC EVO.

i really really hope they upgrades the GPU. Current snapdragon ones are weak.

I doubt they will upgrade the GPU, this phone will most likely have the same guts as the EVO except with a GSM Chip. I Hope I’m proven wrong though but it’s not likely.

GPU Isnt weak. Drivers are weak and games support is weak for snapdragon. As more games will come then better support will be. This CPU/GPU can do MUCH more then what it does today.

We bought one of these using our actual money. The HTC One V is HTC’s third entry in its high-profile new HTC One range, offering a smaller 3.7″ display running on a single-core 1GHz processor.
