HTC has managed a quite sensational increase in sales – managing to more than DOUBLE its monthly year-on-year sales. In July 2009 it made $10.83 billion Taiwanese dollars, which rose massively to $24.45 billion in July of 2010, as the likes of the HTC Desire, Wildfire and Legend assaulted their various demographics.
That is a very large number of telephones.
$24.45 billion Taiwanese dollars is about $764 million in US dollars, or £479m in pounds. And a bit more than that in euros. About 550m off the top of our heads. News from Reuters, via Pocket-Lint.
