US stat-counter ComScore has released its latest set of smartphone OS market share data for the three months to May 2010 – and Android is the only OS to register an increase in user share over the previous quarter.
Android penetration in the US was up by 4% to 13% of all smartphone users, with RIM, Microsoft, Palm and even the mighty Apple all suffering tiny falls in comparison. Here’s the chart. It’s not a looker, but gets the facts across:
