Crikey. Hot on the heels of yesterday’s embarrassing leakage regarding Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X8, today we have a totally unexpected change of direction – a WALKMAN branded media phone from Sony Ericsson.
Everyone’s assuming this is an Android-powered phone, as it’s clearly packing an OS that’s extremely similar to the heavily-customised Android 1.6 OS that powers the X10 and X10 Mini series – so surely it’s still Android underneath?
But there’s not enough buttons on the front of that phone, so we’re assuming it’s going to be a slider of some description – perhaps a vertical slider, as hinted at by the oddly-placed white casing?

UPDATE:
Sony Ericsson has now confirmed Yendo, and it is not – repeat, IT IS NOT – an Android phone. It just uses the same UI from the X-series.
