The latest unbelievably detailed collection of user data from mobile ad network Smaato has been released, and it shows… a lot.
Focusing mainly on how many people display, look at and interact with adverts on their mobile phones, the figures have been compiled from 7 billion ad requests filed through the Smaato network during May of 2010.
The end result is graphs like this, which show the likelihood of a phone user clicking on an advert. Be kind about Symbian users, a lot of them are children…
If you’re an app developer working on an ad-funded model, you’ll make a lot more money from targeting the Symbian platform, and even the Apple phones, basically. Which isn’t particularly great news for us lot. Here’s the European breakdown:
