The rather notorious Audiogalaxy name has returned once again, this time in the shape of a streaming audio app that’s just gone live on the Android Market. Claiming to let users stream any DRM-free music they own via 3G, EDGE or wi-fi connections, it’s a very clean and simple little tool.
Here’s the maker’s description:
“Audiogalaxy lets you stream your DRM-free music from your home computer to your phone from anywhere using 3G, EDGE, or WiFi. Get access to all your music without having to copy it onto your phone!
“You’ll need to signup at http://www.audiogalaxy.com from your Mac/PC that has your MP3s before using this application”
And here it is:
You will indeed need an Audiogalaxy account in order to use it, but that’s OK as it’s free to register one of those over at Audiogalaxy.com and you can further speed up the process by signing in to the site and Android app with your existing Facebook details - although you will have to download the Audiogalaxy Helper app to your PC in order to get it all working as intended.
And here’s a QR code for it, if you’re in a hurry. Audiogalaxy is quite a hard word to type.
