RadiusTalk is not actually an app as such, more a mobile web tool that utilises some of your Android phone’s geo-location tools – giving you the chance to engage in potentially life-threatening scenarios involving chatting to strangers who happen to be in your area.
Anonymous location-based chat? This can’t end well. Here’s the description from the maker:
“Chat anonymously with people around you, anytime, anywhere. Boring meeting? Friends running late? Alone in the park or even at the bar? Open radiusTalk and feel the thrill of talking to nearby strangers.
Available on iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Android (2.1+)
To use it simply navigate to http://m.radiustalk.com on your mobile device!
And here’s what it looks like. It’s running on an iPhone here, but seeing as it’s a web app it ought to look the same on your Android phone, give or take a few pixels and text boxes:
We’re not in possession of an Android 2.1 handset, so are doing this update on trust alone. It had better work, Radius. We’re trusting you on this.
