Vodafone’s crazed attack on the Android scene continues, with the network today confirming it will soon begin to offer the impressive-looking Samsung Galaxy S on monthly tariffs.
Vodafone is also claiming it has an exclusive on a 16GB internal memory variant of Samsung’s hot new 4″ Super AMOLED Android 2.1 phone, which certainly gives it a minor unique selling point in a rather packed handset market.
Here’s the dream team in full effect, over on Vodafone’s “coming soon” page:
This means Vodafone’s Android lineup will soon read like a ‘Who’s Who?’ of the Android phone world, with the network currently stocking the HTC Desire along with its existing UK exclusives on the HTC Legend and Nexus One, and the Sony Ericsson X10.
And to think it was only back in March of this year that we were complaining Vodafone was only offering the slightly manky HTC Tattoo as its only Android phone. How fast things move in Android World…

/ May 13, 2010Have we seen any photo’s of the version of this with a qwerty keyboard? I think since I’d like a qwerty keyboard, and that’s the only thing that could tempt me away from a Desire. If it’s any good that is.

/ May 13, 2010I think that version with the QWERTY keyboard was an internet lie. Didn’t it originate from a report on a very dodgy random message board?
I seem to remember scoffing with amusement when people started reporting it as FACT, anyway.
