Go T-Mobile Hungary! According to various internet reports today, the Hungarian office of T-Mobile has jumped the gun on the rest of Europe and released an OS update for the “entry level” T-Mobile Pulse – bringing the handset up to full Android 2.1 status.
The update, created by hardware manufacturer Huawei, which supplies T-Mobile with the Pulse, is currently on T-Mobile Hungary’s web site here, should you fancy having a go at upgrading your phone this weekend. The full – Hungarian! – description of the update is on T-Mobile Hungary’s site here.

/ May 29, 2010I installed this ROM on my Pulse right after its release (I’m using a Pulse sold by the Hungarian T-Mobile), and I have to say it works really well.
Finally it has a sophisticated unlock-screen, live wallpapers, and a lot of things came with the 2.1 update like the more advanced and easy-to-use calendar (compared to the 1.5 version), finally you can see the letters A, B, C, etc in the middle of the screen while scrolling your contacts, and I could set up my SSL e-mail accounts without the need of a signed certificate.
Good point is that when you accidentally open that “My Phonebook”-whatever which is intended to cover-flow your favorite contacts, you can go back by simply pressing the Back key which was impossible before the update. Also the lower menu bar got a few new buttons (an overview and a messaging button).
Well, the Block Breaker game went away with the update, but i think noone will cry because of this :)
