STOCK CRISIS continues – HTC's Droid Incredible sold out in the US

The rather nice-looking HTC Droid Incredible is the latest victim of the Android phone STOCK CRISIS that’s currently gripping the world, with US network Verizon now running of supplies of the new Android handset.

Interestingly, Verizon chief executive Lowell McAdam is indirectly blaming Samsung for the stock problems – telling MSNBC that it’s a shortage of the phone’s Samsung-made screens that’s hindering HTC’s manufacturing process and leading to empty shelves.

McAdam also confirmed a few numbers – the Droid Incredible shifted a stunning 100,000 units throughout its first few launch days, and the network is selling any new handsets that do arrive in store “in a matter of hours”.
