Yet another slight tweaking of Google’s stunning Maps Android app has rolled out on the Android Market this afternoon, bringing a handful of minor features to the must-have tool – also giving the American version of the app more features than the UK edition.
The updates, according to the app itself, are:
- Share places by email, text message, Facebook, and more
- New Navigation icon and the application launcher
And sadly that’s your lot in the Eurozone…
The bad news is the US has once again taken the lead in terms of features – the US Maps update adds a cycling layer (pictured above left), which adapts the Navigation data to suit cyclists. Unfortunately, we don’t get that in Europe. Yet.
