HTC has some disappointing news for fans of its wafer-thin, super-industrial HTC Incredible Android phone – it’s not coming to the UK.
We weren’t really expecting it too, seeing as we already have HTC’s Legend, Desire and quite possibly even the Nexus One soon enough, but it’s still a bit of a shame – with its 8megapixel camera and super-slim case you could argue the Incredible is even more of a mind-blowing piece of Android kit than the beloved Desire.
Here’s how HTC broke the news, via a public Tweet, prompted by a question from this fellow:
It could’ve let us know personally in a phone call first, to lessen the hurt

/ April 23, 2010Don’t worry, you can’t trust anything HTC say as being true at all.
I remember when they tweeted that HTC would be getting Android in March 2010.

/ April 23, 2010I live in Norway and only one thing is keeping me from getting the Desire… the Synaptics ClearPad 2000 touchpad! Would seem like a waste to buy a phone that only recognises two fingers.

/ April 23, 2010Every Android phone is a tiny bit different and goes by a different name in the US though. I think it’s the law. So maybe there are really no plans for the Incredible, but there are plans for the “HTC Fantastic” instead. Or something. Not that it makes any difference to me – I bought a Hero. This year. ):
