Ooh, we do love a good niche. And is there a TIGHTER and more PRECISELY DEFINED niche around today than this – an Android app designed for people who like hunting for and collecting ancient arrowheads?
Here’s the Android Market description:
“The ‘must have’ application for surface collectors of arrowheads. Catalogue your finds by taking photos of your discovery and recording its location with your phone’s GPS. Establish keywords to organize your collection. View all your artifacts in a satellite view. V1.0.4 makes app available for phones with v1.5 of SDK”
The wording suggests there’s a differentiation between “surface collectors” and other kinds of collectors. Perhaps surface collectors look down upon those who use metal detectors, because, as they say, detectin’ is defectin’?
