Optimistic Acer raises it's 2010 Android phone sales forecast to 3 million

According to a report in Chinese-language publication Economic Daily News – translated by DigiTimes today – jack-of-all-hardwares Acer has raised its smartphone sales forecast for 2010.

Originally hoping to shift TWO million Android-powered phones throughout this year, the RAMPANT growth and public adoration for all things Android has led the company to raise that to THREE million. That’s a big increase.

The report also says that Acer will show off yet more handsets this June at trade show Computex 2010, adding to its current line up of Liquid, beTouch E110 and beTouch E400 Android phones.
