BEST DEALS: Phones4U offering an HTC Desire through Orange on £25 tariff

Whoa, cancel those pre-orders!

We’ve just spotted a rather HOT DEAL on UK multi-network reseller Phones4U, which will let you get an HTC Desire, connected through Orange, for £25 per month – and that’s on a shorter 18 month contract rather than the usual oppressive 24-monthers we tend to see these days.

Phones4U is taking orders now for delivery on April 12. We’ve taken a screencapture of the deal in our shopping basket and ready to go, as proof we haven’t just gone mad:

We didn’t buy it, obviously. We’re sticking with our trusty HTC Magic for another year. This way, we’ll be first in line for upgrades in 2011. Oh yes, we’re playing the long game.

  1. Mobilephonesdirect.co.uk have the Desire on £25 a month on a T-Mobile contract too, it’s 300 minutes, but has a far lower number of texts in 300 to Orange’s 3000, however, it is a T-Mobile contract, so the ‘unlimited’ internet limit is 1GB (it might even be up to 3GB now), which is distinctly more ‘unlimited’ than Orange’s 500MB.

  2. Yeah don’t forget you’ll have to add some form of Internet add-on to this deal which will push the price up past £25…

The T&Cs say you get 500MB of internet on that deal, which is admittedly “entry level” but fine if you’re careful.
