Clearly French blog Android France has managed to get a couple of real-life photos of the long-rumoured and multi-named LG LU2300 Android phone, which, on first impressions, looks to us like the first time LG has got it RIGHT for many years.
Ditching its usual love of quirky plastic designs, the simple and stylish LU2300 has a superb retro brushed metal look to its QWERTY keyboard, offering what promises to be a nicely spaced out and very useable typing experience.
For the first time ever, we’re imagining having and using an LG Android phone.
Specs wise, the LU2300 features Android 2.1 powered by the faster 1GHz Snapdragon processor that’s powerful enough to encode video at 720p, while that screen’s a large-sided 3.5″ job capable of outputting at 800 x 480 resolution. It is all good, to be honest.

/ April 13, 2010I’m hoping to get my hands on one of these for a review soon as i write the Uk blog for LG (even if it is only released in Korea). Everything about it is looking right.
Android 2.1
1GHz processor
Capacitive touchscreen
Like the GW620 with some serious punch
