Has there ever been a more exciting week for phone launches?
The networks are all FIGHTING to the DEATH for our smartphone money, with the latest announcement coming from Virgin Mobile – which is now stocking both the HTC Desire and Sony Ericsson’s long-awaited X10.
Look, we’ve done some screen-captures as proof:
Poor old Apple must be gutted at all the hype the Android phones are getting at the moment. The way each manufacturer and network is hammering out news is giving Android immense amounts of publicity. The world has, quite literally, gone Android MAD this last few weeks.
And those are Virgin’s pricing packages for the Desire. £30 per month and a “free” Desire is about as good as you’re going to get in the UK right now, at least for the next few months until some of the HTC Desire MANIA dies down.
You’re also now able to order Sony Ericsson’s X10 via Virgin Mobile on pretty similar tariffs, although you’re required to pay £35 per month is you want the X10 for “free” through Virgin.
