Here’s something from the long, long list of things we’ve dragged up out of the internet today – a really quite swish-looking alternate Android user interface concept.
Called Dolores, the concept scheme has been knocked together by… we have no idea. It’s on a foreign-language bit of the internet over here, if you want to see if you can work out which symbols are the user’s name. We’re not going to apologise for not knowing how to read Chinese, it’s very hard.
The comments bit beneath the post has lots of smiley faces in it, so we can only assume it’s been rather well received. Although, if the developer’s choice of music is anything to go on… we’ll pass.

/ March 29, 2010for mock-ups that’s not bad looking, Tole isn’t that bad either. This will probably end up as root themes although who knows, a chinese carrier/manufacturer could pick that up for their phones.

/ June 25, 2010I used Google Translate to read the site… didn’t help that much! LOL However, this is just artwork at the moment. Comments are 101 days old, so not sure it will ever come to light – or maybe it already is, couldn’t tell. Chinese is very difficult to translate (as a machine, like Google). It takes someone who is intimately familiar with both cultures and languages. They like to speak in poetic terms more than literal.
