The superb Seesmic, which has, we are pleased to announce, finally vanquished poor old Swift from our HTC Magic to become our #1 Twitter app thanks to its superb support for multiple accounts and our multiple personalities, has been updated.
If that sentence was a bit too complicated to read, here the list of changes made to Android Seesmic today, as just announced on Seesmic’s blog:
Improvement to notifications (new icon, count of messages in icon and bug fixes)
Tap on the top red bar to jump to the top of any timeline (with tutorial)
Proxy support, on a per account basis (We’ll have a separate post to go into more details about this)
SSL support, on a per account basis
User Interface fixes, including for Motorola Blur OS
Added a setting to automatically launch the application at startup of the phone (Settings > Advanced)
And the pics:
Honestly, if you’re still labouring away with some other Twitter app or, heavens above, using the web-based Twitter interface, do yourself and load up Seesmic. It’s got to be one of the most polished and impressive apps on the entire Android Market. And the FOOLS are still giving it away for free.
