If you’re the sort of person who lives the social media DREAM doing things like organising lunches with strangers through Twitter, there’s now an app for you. It’s called Twunch, and it lets users read about and join in with all the latest Twitter lunch meetings on their Android phones.
No, we wouldn’t do that sort of thing either, but it would seem some people actually do, especially in Belgium.

What is Twunch?
A Twunch is an informal lunch organized via Twitter in restaurant where you can eat fast and cheap without making a reservation. To organize a Twunch you tweet a location and time and include @twunch. If you want to join a Twunch you simply send a reply to @twunch.What does the Twunch app for Android do?
The Twunch Android application lists upcoming Twunches. It shows the date, time, location and participants of each Twunch. You can join a Twunch from within the application and find the Twunch location on a map.
