Don’t expect anything too exciting, but Motorola Europe has announced the arrival of an update to the Euro-spec DEXT Android phone, promising… promising quite a few tweaks and enhancements, actually, designed to speed-up what was a quite clunky handset.
Here’s exactly what DEXT owners can expect:
Reports from users who have installed the update on Motorola’s angst-ridden Facebook page are rather positive, with a few DEXT owners reporting much better battery life and increased responsiveness from the touchscreen as a result of the upgrade, which is being supplied over-the-air to all Orange subscribers.
It also looks like the company is deleting all mentions of the bootloader, in an effort to clear up its Facebook presence. The Motorola Europe PR fightback has begun!
