WEEKLY WRAP: The Android news we missed or deliberately snubbed

Here’s a little round-up of a few of the more “mainstream” mentions of Android from the various media portals of world this week, ones that we didn’t mention for our own bizarre little reasons.

For a relaxing Saturday read.

Microsoft plants Bing on Google-free Chinese Androids
A dull fact-based story we couldn’t be bothered writing up, to be frank. It’s Bing, it’s China, it’s Motorola. We are not that bored yet.

HTC create another Legend
Mainstream UK tabloid ‘The Sun’ has really been pushing Android of late – last week it plugged the MILESTONE, this week it’s the turn of the Legend. Someone at The Sun obviously wants to blag a free upgrade or two…

HTC Supersonic meets Mr. Blurrycam, leaves us wanting more (video)
We’re not blowing our load on HTC Supersonic coverage until we see some proper photos. We shall ignore all mention of it until there’s nice publicity shots.

S. Korea may block Google’s Android market on unregulated game contents
Forgive us for not mentioning the very latest in HOT South Korean licensing regulatory body movements.

Cell phone pioneer Cooper an Android man
MAN OWNS PRODUCT, SHOCKER!

LG unveils its first Android phone
We can’t take LG seriously after spending a very miserable weekend with a review “Viewty” a few years ago. A terrible phone, that.

Android NDK taps into high-speed graphics
Didn’t write anything about this, as part of our new policy to not write about anything we don’t entirely understand.

Malware found on out-of-the-box Vodafone HTC Magic smartphone
Virus-found-on-thing is hardly news. We doubt Vodafone PUT IT THERE in a deliberate attack on its consumers. In fact the story even SAYS THAT, yet still people reported it like it was some sort of scandal.

That’s enough for this week. We’re starting to get angry and write in capital letters :(

Bear in mind you’re talking to the man who did an update about “Estimate Horse Weight” yesterday. My hypocrisy knows NO BOUNDS!
