Oh yes. The Commodore 64 had the best games and the best music of the time. We can still remember the epic score of shoot ‘em up ‘Delta’ while many other works of masters like Rob Hubbard are still buried in our minds to this day. Apologies for ‘showing our age’ here…
The developer of C64 Games Music Collection says he’s taking requests for inclusion in future releases – so can we have ‘Hawkeye’ and the works of the other amazingly-talented Thalamus developers, please?
And the “Mix-e-Load” system, also from Delta. That was staggering. A game in itself.
Hopefully the rather shady legality of nicking the music will be ignored – the pumping, distorted beats of the C64′s legendary sound chip deserve to live on!
