Isn’t it a crazy, mixed-up world we live in, when people like us sitting on the internet know literally EVERYTHING about EVERY product, days, weeks and often even months before it’s officially announced?
HTC seems to be particularly leaky when it comes to new hardware – or has perhaps realised the benefit of all this advanced internet publicity – as today sees more photos and the full spec sheet emerge for the recently spilled HTC Legend.
Here are the phone’s vitals, lifted from Engadget today:
- 3.2″ HVGA AMOLED capacitive touchscreen
- 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor
- 5 megapixel camera with LED flash
- Bluetooth 2.1+EDR
- WiFi
- Quadband GSM / EDGE plus dualband HSPA
- Magnetic compass
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- 1300mAh battery
And look, it’s even got a bit of the old HTC Hero chin:
Not bad. Not great, either, with the Legend’s 3.2″ screen putting it near the bottom of the current acceptable Android screen size range, but then we presume the Legend will be priced accordingly – replacing the now-ageing Hero in most retailers’ ranges.
