There are some amazing scenes going on on the Motorola Europe Facebook page today. A bunch of annoyed European Motorola MILESTONE owners are currently bombarding the company’s official Facebook page with blurry, rubbish photos taken with the EU MILESTONE, as a protest against the company’s lack of support for the phone.
Here’s what one user had to say, after Motorola brazenly tried to launch Moto Pic Monday while most European users are waiting for the company to issue the bug-fixing Android 2.0.1 update in the EU.
“Way to go announcing stupid foto-contests while everyone is WAITING for an update to FIX THE BROKEN CAM on the Milestone”
Go check it out – Motorola Europe’s fans are calling the dirty protest “Moto Fuzzy Pic Monday”…
Brilliant work, MILESTONE users. Here’s one “sample” photo a MILESTONE user has just uploaded to the Facebook page to illustrate how broken the EU-spec DROID’s camera currently is. Poor old Motorola!
And another. Is this REALLY the sort of geometry the MILESTONE’s camera produces? That’s unbelievably poor.
Long live Moto Fuzzy Pic Monday! Great work, Moto owners. You can, if you are MAD, get a Motorola MILESTONE on Amazon for £399 at the moment, if you want to join in with the baying mob.

/ February 1, 2010The Motorola Milestone is an amazing piece of hardware. Its a pity the software is so crippled as to basically be pointless. It requires far stricter checks which determine what software and firmware can be loaded on it, making it basically a closed device; unlike the Motorola Droid, which is as open as a Dutch hooker.
This is the first (and last) Motorola device I ever buy. Pity that :-(
