Tap 'n Tap – bringing iPad style to the Android scene

Have a look at the latest Android-powered tablet solution, currently in development by tech startup Tap ‘n Tap and a couple of tech partners – a supposed “Home Internet Device” designed to be “always on” therefore ensuring neither you or any members of your family have to be away from an internet for more than 30 seconds.

And it’ll be out this year, or could be out this year at least, for a price around $299, according to founder and CEO Javier Segovia, who said the following to MHT:

“These products can be in the market at $299 this year… we enable lower-cost versions of the tablet that are equally compelling”

And that’s the current concept product, featuring the company’s Android-based touchscreen interface. Looks like Tap ‘n Tap is still in a very early development period, with MHT using such hot tech terms as “bootstrapped” and “angel funded” to describe the maker’s financial status – so if you’re reading this from within Motorola or HTC, we suspect they might like to hear from you regarding some money in exchange for whacking your logo on it.
