WEAK British customers FLOCK to iPhone – Vodafone shifts 100,000 in a week

Oh dear. The Android army is reeling and on the back foot in the UK. Vodafone UK has just Tweeted to the world that UK Vodafone customers bought a staggering 100,000 iPhones in the ONE WEEK since the “Jesus Phone” arrived on their network.

That’s a lot of iPhones. That’s got to be at least five lorry loads of iPhones. Is Vodafone UK working OK for everyone? The amount of data suddenly being thrown around must be IMMENSE.

Which makes Google’s US-based alleged 20,000 launch week Nexus One sales look worryingly weak. How can 100,000 people in the UK possibly all want a boring old iPhone instead of a lovely HTC Magic or Hero? What’s with you (those) people?

    Makes me sick…

I just wish they’d hurry up and announce the Nexus One over here in the UK – not that I even plan to buy it from Vodafone.

  2. Maybe we’re fed up being treated like second class citizens. Where’s the Motorola Droid? Where’s the Nexus One? Where’s my [deleted] Android 2.0 for my G1?

    Where’s some communication?

While apple have adverts coming out of their ears then only thing Google over here seem interested in telling people about is Chrome.
