Mobile comms company Truphone has today launched the 3.0 version of its Android chat app, which cleverly brings together VOIP services from Skype and Google Talk in one client along with its own international calling plans, then MASHES that all UP with text chat options through AIM, Twitter, MSN and Yahoo chat tools.
It is quite possibly the most sociable app on the whole Android Market.
Truphone’s app is up on the Android Market right now, for free, for having a go on. And yes, this one’s up for UK users as well – we checked. We always like to check.
If you’d like to check if the app will work for you, Truphone has this list of countries it has operational servers in [PDF]. That PDF will also come in handy for practising your national flags, if you’re into pub quizzes. The flag round is always a nightmare.
